Iceberg Head Lettuce - Summertime

Summertime is one of the few lettuces that can actually be grown in the heat of summer. It is a heat-tolerant iceberg-type lettuce that has dark green wrapper leaves and frilled edges. These outer leaves provide excellent sun and wind protection to the rich, light green medium-sized heads. Slow to bolt. Excellent for the backyard grower.
