2023 CSA Week #4 Update

Dave

Greetings 2023 CSA members!

We are already coming up on week #4 of our program. I hope that you are enjoying each weekly share as much as we enjoy bringing  it to you! These first few weeks are always a challenge before our crops are in full swing. We are doing our best to supply you and your family with fresh and nutritious vegetables and fruit. We were recently made aware of an issue with some fruit in this past week's shares. There are many variables factored into growing conditions and unfortunately at times, this leads to produce being highly perishable. Please, if you ever come across items from our Farm that are not up to your standards, let us know so we can make it right. We will always stand behind our products.

The last time I gave an update it was week one and we were experiencing a severe drought. What a difference a few weeks make!  We have received well over two inches of rain in the last ten days and the crops have responded nicely!  The sweet corn looks so much better!

In the next few weeks sweet corn and peaches will make regular appearances in your shares.

Thank you for your support and trust,

Dave
